Maven Executive Coaching
FAQs
-
Senior and rising-senior women navigating complex environments that were never made for them — and the teams they lead. Many of my clients feel a gap between who they are and how they’re expected to lead — a gap they’ve learned to tolerate.
I also work with mixed-gender teams who want to lead well together, not just beside each other.
-
I predominately coach women because that is my passion but I also coach men and teams collectively. The work is relational and systemic. When the team learns to steer together, everyone leads better.

What’s your coaching style?
Direct, grounded, and relational. I’m not here to cheerlead or hand you a script. I help you see the dynamics clearly, understand what’s actually happening, and steer your leadership with intention. You stay in the driver’s seat — I help you navigate the terrain.
-
Most coaching focuses on the individual. My work integrates identity, relationships, team dynamics, and organizational systems and I bring my 25 years of experience leading in a male-coded environment to every conversation I have. You’re not leading in a vacuum; you’re leading inside a culture. We work in that space.
-
You lead with more steadiness. You communicate with more impact. You navigate power and politics with more ease. Your team steps up. You stop carrying work that isn’t yours. You stop guessing yourself. You shift from playing not to lose to playing to win. But, let’s be real, you will get what you put into it. Like amazing success you’ve had in your life, you need to be able to roll up your sleeves, be honest with yourself, and committed to the work.
-
Yes. And I’ll be honest: the term itself is flawed. It’s qualitative, inconsistently defined, and often rooted in norms that were never built for women. In our work, we redefine presence as the way you influence, communicate, and hold authority — not how well you match someone else’s template.
-
Absolutely. I work with senior teams on communication, decision-making, trust, and shared responsibility. The goal is a team that can steer together — not one person doing all the driving. This be from a team coaching focus or from a tailored workshop to address specific concerns.
-
No. Coaching is forward-focused and leadership-focused. We work on patterns, behaviours, dynamics, and decisions. If therapy is needed alongside coaching, I’ll say so.
-
Most leaders work with me for 6–12 months because the work is deep, relational, and tied to real organizational cycles. From there we can then design the next phase tailored to your needs. Teams typically engage in 3–6 month arcs depending on scope.
-
Yes — I’m certified in the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) and DiSC, and I also offer a Narrative 360 for leaders who want a more tailored, human-centred assessment.
LCP reveals the deeper patterns, assumptions, and strengths shaping your leadership — the things you can feel but haven’t always had language for.
DiSC helps teams understand how they communicate, collaborate, and create friction so they can lead well together.
Narrative 360 gives you a qualitative, story-driven view of how your leadership is experienced — not a score, but a nuanced picture of your impact, your patterns, and the dynamics around you.
Each tool makes the invisible visible. Used intentionally, they accelerate the work for both individuals and teams.

A conversation. We explore the terrain you’re leading in, what’s pulling you off-centre, and what you want to shift. Fit matters — the work is deep, relational, and designed for real transformation, not quick fixes.
